Meeting with
Leaders of Trento, April 23, 2009
On April 23, Jim Keenan,
Antonio Autiero, and Michela Chiste met
at the Fondazione Bruno Kessler in Trento with nearly 20 different leaders
from the city and the Province of Trento. This included Archbishop
Luigi Bressan, the Province Assessor, the
Vice-rector of the University of Trent, the
Seminary rector, the Office of transport, etc. Their responses
were extraordinarily positive. A variety of services were offered
in order to incorporate our conference into the life of the city and
province of Trent. Among the offerings were a two-hundred room
university dormitory, with private rooms and bath (for a nominal fee),
transport, receptions, translators, etc.
I will be meeting with them again in late July when the planning committee
gathers then.
