I. International Coverage of Padova Conference

II. IN FRENCH AND ENGLISH: IF YOU NEEDED A VISA TO COME TO THE CONFERENCE IN PADOVA, DAVID KIRCHHOFFER REQUESTS YOUR ASSISTANCE TO STUDY THE SUCCESSES AND FAILURES OF THE PROCESS (SPANISH QUESTIONNAIRE IN NOVEMBER)

david.kirchhoffer@student.kuleuven.be

Toute information personnelle restera confidentielle.

Your Help is Requested with Research into Visa Problems

Many people experienced problems obtaining visas to attend the conference in Padua in July. Are these difficulties an example of an injustice that should be addressed by Catholic ethicists? Research is being undertaken by a doctoral student at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven to answer this question, and you can help.

Quantitative and qualitative research will be undertaken to ascertain what kinds of problems people experienced obtaining visas to attend the conference in Italy and whether there is a significant bias against people from certain countries or regions. The first step in this research is to document people's experiences.

Please could you answer the questionnaire below and send it to david.kirchhoffer@student.kuleuven.be

Please answer the questionnaire even if you did not need a visa to attend the conference. It is important if we are going to be able to do any kind of meaningful quantitative analysis. Likewise, please fill in the questionnaire even if you only had positive experiences in obtaining a visa.

Personal information will be kept confidential. However, please fill in the biographical data, including your name. It will enable us to follow up on any comments you may have made or to seek further clarification. If any identifying data is to be used, you will be asked in advance for approval.
