Alexandre A. Martins, MI is a member of the Religious of the Order of Saint Camillus (Camillians) from Brazil. He holds a Ph.D. in Theological Ethics/Bioethics from Marquette University. His research focus in Catholic social ethic and healthcare ethics with special concentration in public and global health from a liberating approach. He has published a fews books and articles. His last books were “A Pobreza e a Graça: Experiência de Deus em Meio ao Sofrimento em Simone Weil;” “Boética, Saúde e Vulnerablidade: Em Defesa da Dignidade dos Mais Vulneráveis;” and “Introdução à Cristologia Latino-Americana: Cristologia no Encontro com a Realidade Pobre e Plural da América Latina.”
